I have had 4 other companies come to my house to do an analysis and then pressure me to sign on. None of them could do all the roof surfaces needed to get us close to covering 100% of our energy use. So when contacted by PurePoint through a referral from a friend of mine, I was skeptical. The first difference that I noticed was they did everything remotely and promptly delivered a comprehensive analysis to my email. Daniel was responsive to questions, but not pushy, and allowed us to review everything and make our own decision. They WERE able to utilize all of our roof surfaces and the numbers seemed to make sense. When our project was handed over to Natalie to take care of the installation that's when things were really great! A few modifications needed to be made to the proposal to get panels on our detached garage like we planned. She took us through every step, answering every question and coming to the house to review different ideas of how it could be done. I loved her positive attitude and her belief that "anything can be accomplished, we just have to figure out how, and don't worry, we will figure it out". Well, she did. Jonathan, the electrician, and his crew came and installed everything quickly and was also very responsive. We've all had contractors that say they will show up on a certain day and we just don't hear from them, right? Jonathan came when he said he would and the one day it was raining and they couldn't get on our roof, we had a text the night before and in the morning apologizing that he couldn't work on our roof in the pouring rain and would be there the next day. True to his word he was there the next day. His whole crew was extremely polite and totally accommodating to anything we needed and desired. We've had our system running for about a week now and are very happy. Today I had a quick question. I reached out to Natalie and she immediately got back to me. This company is a class act! PurePoint Energy was in communication from start to finish on a 35 solar panel installation. They were very responsive to my needs and wants and let me know daily what was to occur each day during the installation. I had a Design Control Board that had to approve the project, and PurePoint’s assistance by providing graphs, design and layout eased the way. PurePoint managed to get a rebate for the project, and worked with FPL on my behalf during the process. When you have a company that is all about you, great customer service and passionate about clean energy, PurePoint fulfills it all. I am using PurePoint Energy again to add another 13 panels in the quest to be 100 percent someday.

At the beginning all solar companies I contacted their first order of business was how it would be financed. With PurePoint it was so different. They sent out a sales rep. Just to see what we expected to accomplish from adding solar, what size system etc. the whole process went smooth and stayed right on schedule. Any time I had a question they actually answered the phone or called me that day. We chose to install 13 panels in 2013 which covered about 40-50 percent of my electric bill. The system performed just the way they said so this year 2014 I am using Pure Point Energy again to add another 13 panels in the quest to be 100 percent someday. I can write all day about how easy it was to do business with them. My suggestion is if you're interested in going solar call Tom and set up and appointment and see what they have to offer. I promise he won't ask for your SSN # and fill out credit app before he will meet with you.

I would recommend PurePoint Energy to anyone considering adding a PV system.

We get a fair number of calls from folks wanting to sell us a Solar System. My wife who is blind, asks to have something mailed that she can have read to her. PurePoint called and was given the same request. In three days we received a packet of information. PurePoint Energy was the only one who complied with her request. We met with Mike. He came prepared with a good presentation, samples of the equipment and had answers to all our questions and concerns. If he was not the first proposal, we would have written a check and signed up, as we were that comfortable with him. I had no benchmark to judge against and wanted a couple additional proposals. I found two other companies that had good reviews, small sized businesses and requested proposals. Although not the least costly overall, I felt PurePoint provided the best value. Less money would have given me less capacity and lower efficiency. I notified the two others that they were not selected. One I never heard from again. The online folks asked what they could have done different or better and looked for some feedback. I did send them a letter explaining my decision process. When I really got into the nuts and bolts, all three were very competitive and was looking like it might be a coin toss. PurePoint won because of panel efficiency, warranty and output capacity as well as Mike making us comfortable doing business with PurePoint. I also feel they did a better job sizing the system to our needs. Our system is a SunPower, 21% efficient panels with micro-inverter built into the panels yielding a 240 Volt AC output. Everyone that I have come in contact with has been a pleasure to work with. Dom and the installation crew were willing to work with our schedule and availability. Daniel has been very supportive to all my calls and e-mails with questions. Always returning calls and being very responsive to e-mail. As this was a new adventure for me, I had plenty of questions for the tech guys. The PurePoint Team kept us in the loop on all aspects of the project plan and schedule. With the recent heatwave in the North East and the A/C running constantly, we are producing more power than we use. I would say the upgrade to PV solar was a success and I am very happy with the results. I would recommend PurePoint Energy to anyone considering adding a PV system.
